Elkapsling AB is a growing industrial company that develops, manufactures and markets cabinets and enclosures for the protection of electrical and electronic equipment. All manufacturing and development takes place at our units in Alby, Ånge Municipality and Bredaryd in Småland and the customers are mainly in the Nordic region. Elkapsling has a turnover of approximately SEK 180 million and 110 employees.

As our current CEO moves on to new assignments within the Group, we are recruiting his successor.

Tasks

In the role of CEO of the company, you will have the opportunity to develop an already successful and well-established company, with great growth potential, with great freedom and your own drive. The company has experienced continuous growth while maintaining good profitability. With us, you work on behalf of the board and you represent the company in various public contexts. You are responsible for reporting to the Board of Directors and in close dialogue work to shape the company in the long term according to future expectations and established business plans.

You are expected to actively drive and develop the company’s operations towards set strategic and financial, short- and long-term goals and you have the overall responsibility for the entire company. Furthermore, you work intensively to develop and create results through business development, sales and profitability improvements. Our focus is on continued growth, so your commitment to driving sales and developing the business will be very important.

As the role involves a wide variety of tasks, both strategically and operationally, we see that you have an unpretentious approach and contribute with a business-like and innovative attitude, which contributes to an open culture characterized by collaboration.

The position is mainly located at our head office in Alby, but we also have an office at Metropol in Sundsvall. Business travel is included.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who has relevant academic education, preferably with a focus on technology and/or economics. As CEO, you have good negotiation skills and have previously worked with sales and business development both nationally and internationally. You have good experience in managing budgets, income statements and balance sheets and managing various KPIs.

You have several years of experience in the role of manager at management team level as well as good experience and understanding of successfully running and developing an organization or business area with documented good results. Knowledge in production, product calculations and logistical flows is an advantage.

It is natural for you to create and maintain good relationships, and to build a climate of trust for cooperation and collaboration both internally and externally. Your communicative skills and inclusive leadership promote openness and dialogue. With commitment and drive as well as perseverance and patience, you lead the business towards set goals.
