Elkapsling AB is a growing industrial company in Ånge that develops, manufactures and markets cabinets and enclosures for the protection of electrical and electronic equipment. Manufacturing and development take place at the factory in Alby outside Ånge and the customers are mainly in the Nordic region.
Elkapsling has about 80 employees and is part of the Lagercrantz technology group, which operates in nine countries in Europe as well as in India, China and the USA. The Group has approximately 1,500 employees and a turnover of approximately SEK 4 billion. The company’s shares have been listed on Nasdaq Stockholm since 2001.

Arbetsledare till svets- och lackeringsavdelningen

Tasks:

• Responsible for ensuring that the department works according to established routines in accordance with our quality management system. If necessary, update established routines.
• Work to ensure that the company’s overall goals are achieved through the implementation of goals and follow-up at the individual level.
• Personnel responsibility with performance evaluation and performance appraisals. Establishment of plans for competence development and participation in salary setting.
• Participate in the development of the budget for the production section.
• Work with continuous improvements and suggest investments when needed.
• Responsible for ensuring that the ERP system is used in accordance with established procedures.
• Continuous follow-up of production times, post-calculations and working time stamps and take action when necessary.
• Responsibility for ensuring that production complies with current environmental permits with the goal of reducing the impact on the environment.
• Manage and allocate production capacity so that promised delivery times are met.
• Work environment responsibility in accordance with a separately established delegation document and that prescribed protective equipment is used.

• Budget responsibility
• Procurement and call-off of external services according to cost or investment budget.
• Employer representatives also outside the regular department’s activities

Competences:

• Technical education with a focus on welding technology or equivalent experience
• Experience of working in a senior position
• Experience from working with production issues
• Knowledge and laws and requirements in the work environment
