Elkapsling AB is a growing industrial company in Ånge that develops, manufactures and markets cabinets and enclosures for the protection of electrical and electronic equipment. Manufacturing and development take place at the factory in Alby outside Ånge and the customers are mainly in the Nordic region.
Elkapsling has about 80 employees and is part of the Lagercrantz technology group, which operates in nine countries in Europe as well as in India, China and the USA. The Group has approximately 1,850 employees and a turnover of approximately SEK 5 billion. The company’s shares have been listed on Nasdaq Stockholm since 2001.

We are now looking for a Strategic Purchaser

Tasks:

• Responsibility for the preparation of agreements with suppliers.
• Responsible for supplier negotiations, supplier development and supplier evaluations.
• Ensure that the purchase of materials and equipment is synchronized between given production units in order to achieve optimal synergies in terms of price and delivery terms
• Responsible for external monitoring of suppliers and freight forwarders of purchased materials.
• Actively participate in connection with inventory valuation and optimization of inventory levels at given production units.
• Responsible for the establishment and monitoring of KPIs in the purchasing area.

Powers:

• Procurement and call-off of materials and external services according to the cost or investment budget in accordance with applicable authorization rules.
• Prevent misuse of the company’s financial resources.
• Represent Elkapsling in purchasing and negotiation issues as agreed with the immediate manager or CEO.

Competences:

• Tertiary education or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Experience of working in a senior position with budget responsibility.
• Good negotiation skills.
• Many years of experience in purchasing issues in production-related environments.
• Good knowledge of laws and requirements in the field of economics.
• Good oral and written proficiency in English.

You report to the production manager. I am an adjunct member of the production management team. Actively contributes to a team-based way of working throughout the company.

Working hours, scope and remuneration

Full-time, permanent and fixed salary.
