Almost exactly a year ago, I stepped in as CEO of Elkapsling and what a year it has been!

After a few relatively stable years, this year started with a large increase in inquiries from our customers and this has been the case throughout the year.
As a result, our sales have increased by as much as 50 percent compared to the previous year.

The increase in sales has posed major challenges and challenges for our organization to be able to live up to our customers’ demands. It has not been easy, but we have chosen to see them as positive challenges.
Especially after the summer, we have found it difficult to keep our delivery times and at the same time not compromise on quality.
Thanks to a good dialogue with our customers and suppliers and with many extra efforts in our production, we have solved the situation as best we could.

During the year, we have increased our staffing in production with a number of more colleagues in order to be able to meet the increased demand.

The pandemic has forced us to postpone our 50th birthday celebration twice, but in September we finally got our long-awaited 50th birthday party!
It was a perfect opportunity to socialize and recharge with energy and a lot of fun to look back in our history and see where we stand today.

It’s even more fun with our planned development in the future. Among other things, we want to invest heavily in our production and we are in the process of creating our own R&D center here in Alby, in the middle of Sweden.

It will be exciting to see what next year brings. The world around us has changed a lot and we will probably face new wonderful challenges.
